International Cooperation
Overview of International Cooperation
The JPC’s international cooperation efforts ultimately aim to achieve the transfer of Japanese productivity technology through the following activities.
 
1. Cooperation at the corporate level
(1) Introduction of the concept and philosophy of productivity
(2) Introduction of productivity improvement tools that are effective in the workplace, and assistance for their implementation (5S, QC, TQM, JIT, etc.)
(3) Introduction of management models that respect the human element as an important resource for good management, and assistance for their implementation
(4) Introduction of personnel development techniques and the mechanism of effective teamwork
(5) Guidance for the development of a model plant

2. Cooperation at the national level (including national productivity institutions)
(1) Introduction of the philosophy and mechanism of the productivity movement
(2) Introduction of implementation methods for the productivity movement and support for its implementation
(3) Support for the construction and operation of a productivity organization
(4) Support for the fostering of productivity consultants
(5) Support for the selection and development of model businesses
