JPC has implemented the following technical cooperation
projects for productivity improvement with the support of
the Japanese government (Japan International Cooperation Agency
(JICA),
amongst many other similar projects. |

Singapore
National Productivity Board
(now known as SPRING
Singapore) |

For
a period of five years from 1983 to 1988, the JPC provided
support for formulating measures to promote a national productivity
movement, fostering management consultants, and establishing
indicators of productivity. |

2.
Costa Rica
Latin America Productivity
Center (Centro
Regional para la Productividad) |
 |
For
a period of five years from 1992 to 1997, the JPC extended
its support for the development of QC and 5S instructors and
information processing engineers.
Since 2000, for a scheduled period of 5 years, it has been
providing its support for the training of management consultants
geared toward providing guidance to small and medium enterprises,
and assistance in the establishment of productivity indicators. |

a period of five years from 1994 to 2001, the JPC provided
support for human resources development, fostering consultants
specializing in the improvement of the workplace, and nurturing
in-house educational trainers. |

a period of six years from 1995 to 2000, the JPC extended
its support for the training of management consultants specializing
in workplace improvement and personnel needed to promote productivity
improvement. It also provided assistance in establishing indicators
related to productivity. |
