Promotion
of personal exchanges and technology transfers at the international
level
With the rapid expansion of the global economy and deepening interdependence among
countries, there is a rising awareness of the significance
of fostering industrialists with international perspective and of
promoting personal exchanges and technical transfers. Toward this
end, the Foreign Affairs Department puts great effort in dispatching
and welcoming overseas study missions. It also engages in a wide
variety of other activities, such as cooperation with the Asian
Productivity Organization (APO) in providing technology transfers
to the Asian region.
