Network
for human resource management
The Japan Society for Human Resource Management was established
as a membership organization for those people engaged in human resource
management in Japan. It is dedicated to supporting the capacity-building
efforts of its members through surveys and research on human resource
management and by creating opportunities for interaction and information
exchanges among its members with a global perspective. It is hoped
that these activities in turn will lead to the strengthening of
corporate competitiveness, and further contribute to the development
of Japans industries. The Society represents Japan in the
World Federation of Personnel Management Associations (WFPMA), a
global network of management professionals made up of approximately
500,000 members from 55 countries.
